Build the proof that lets insurers write AI risk.
We are a small team in Tel Aviv, backed by TBD VC, Black Opal Ventures and ZEP Fund, building the Risk Intelligence platform for the agentic era. The first hires shape what it becomes.
Join our team. Help Cantaloupe turn AI risk into something insurers can write.
We’re always looking for new talent.

careers@getcantaloupe.aiHead of Risk
Why Cantaloupe
Every policy on a carrier’s book already covers AI agents nobody has tested. Cantaloupe is building the way insurers find, score and monitor that risk. You would define what good looks like for a class of risk that does not have a rating factor yet.
Role overview
Own the risk model: the six categories, how an AI agent is scored, what a band means, and which conditions follow from a finding. Sit with carriers and MGAs as the person who speaks underwriting. Work with the founders on what gets built next, and with engineering on how findings become evidence a policy file can hold.
What you have
- Five or more years underwriting, pricing or managing specialty risk, ideally cyber, tech E&O or professional lines
- Comfort turning judgement into a repeatable method that other people can apply
- Curiosity about how AI agents actually fail, and patience for the detail
- A network across carriers, MGAs or reinsurers, and the credibility to use it
Founding Full-Stack Software Engineer
Why Cantaloupe
You would be the first engineer on a product that carriers are already piloting, working directly with a CTO who has led R&D and AI teams, with no legacy to work around and every architectural decision still open.
Role overview
Build the platform end to end: the assessment engine that runs scenarios against an AI agent, the underwriter-facing product that turns findings into a score and evidence, and the API that delivers it into existing underwriting systems. Ship weekly, talk to customers, and set the engineering culture for everyone who joins after you.
What you have
- Strong in TypeScript and Python, and happy anywhere in the stack
- Have shipped production systems with real users, ideally at an early-stage company
- Experience with LLM APIs, evaluation or AI agent frameworks is a plus
- Care about correctness, because what this product produces goes into an insurance file
Forward Deployed Engineer
Why Cantaloupe
Our customers are carriers and MGAs, and every one of them runs a different underwriting stack. The engineer who sits between our platform and their systems decides whether a pilot becomes a contract. That is this role.
Role overview
Own the technical side of each customer engagement: connect Cantaloupe to the insurer’s underwriting and policy systems through our API, get their policyholders’ AI agents into the assessment pipeline, build the integrations and scripts a pilot needs, and feed what you learn back into the product. You will spend time on site with customers in Israel, the US and Europe.
What you have
- Comfortable in a customer’s environment: APIs, data pipelines, legacy systems and the people who own them
- Clear communicator who can explain a finding to an underwriter and a fix to a developer
- Willing to travel, and happy to be the face of the product in the room
Operations Manager
Why Cantaloupe
A small, fast-moving team working with carriers needs someone who makes everything else work. You would build the operating rhythm of the company from the ground up, and grow with it.
Role overview
Run pilots and partner logistics, finance and vendors, hiring pipelines and onboarding, the compliance work with our SOC 2 partner, and the calendar of a founding team that spends half its time with insurers. You are the first call for anything that is not product or code.
What you have
- Experience running operations, programmes or a founder’s office, ideally at an early-stage company
- Organised to a fault, and comfortable owning outcomes without a playbook
- A clear writer and communicator, in English and Hebrew
- Interest in insurance or fintech is helpful, not required
